The #Flex45 challenge

Goal-setting is nothing if we do not act in consistency with achieving them. This can take practice. I took on the #Flex45 challenge and for 45 days in a row, I will be taking on 7 minimal tasks, that need to be carried out in order to stick to a schedule. In today's world, it is very easy to slip up. And with a 'busy life', we often lose the discipline and focus on our own goals. There's a lighter version, #Flex45Lite, if you want to give yourself some leeway. That's up to you. But to be a professional, you need to be consistent. Taking Responsibility - Your Choice!

 If you sit down to read The Secret , the ultimate message is this: that you are responsible for designing your own life. From every choice you make - because everything you do, or do not do, is in itself the result of a choice. Think about it. Whether to do that overdue task now, or leave it to Saturday morning, is a choice. And you will feel the impact - good or bad - at some point. The same goes with whether you further your studies, take that job. Or eat that doughnut. It's all about choice. As my friend Jackey Backman puts it: I create my own reality. This statement, foundation of Jackey's personal development programme ( 9 Principles of Personal Power ), is powerfully true and underlies every single self-development programme I've looked at. Recognising it makes me able to take responsibility for my day - my mindset - from the moment I open my eyes: "How do I want to feel today? What do I want to experience? What do I want to receive?"

Day One - It's all about Mindset!

 My Fit N Chill journey began some years ago, when I began to work on my weight loss. I had become bloated and weighed at least 15 kg more than my desired weight.  I was also on a whole load of toxic patterns, become involved in a number of toxic situations that were no longer serving me. It took a few years to actually have the courage to realise the toxicity which was affecting my health. And ultimately, my wellness. I was in an awful state all-round. A painful break up triggered work on my mindset. It was not some namby-pamby journey but true self-development.  I did work on Mindvalley and with Jackey Backman , two powerful resources that helped me push through, not only grief, but the release of what no longer served me.  Months later, I left a job that was mostly causing me grief - and refashioned what was left into friendship.
